Past Work Reports

Reuse earlier task reports as visible context without losing control of the current request.

Past Work Reports make earlier task findings available as reusable context when the current work benefits from them. They can help avoid repeating an investigation, but you should still confirm that the earlier result applies to the current project and request.

Choose who can use earlier reports

The settings can control access for main work and delegated work separately. The current defaults show earlier reports to delegated work and keep them hidden from main work. Review those choices when the task needs continuity or when fresh investigation is more appropriate.

  1. Check whether earlier context is relevant

Use a report when it answers a question the current task would otherwise need to investigate again. Do not carry it forward just because it exists.

  2. Review the access choices

Confirm the separate main and delegated settings. The current defaults are main hidden and delegated shown; change them only when the task needs a different balance of reuse and fresh review.

  3. Watch the visible activity

When earlier reports are used, the task can show a Search artifacts activity entry. Use the visible result and current files as the source of truth for the work in front of you.

Reuse

Avoid repeat investigation

Earlier findings can give a new task a useful starting point when the project area and question are still relevant.

Review

Keep scope deliberate

Compare reused context with the current request before allowing it to influence the next step.

Activity

Follow visible evidence

Search artifacts activity and current task details show how the context contributed without requiring a separate browsing screen.

Is there a separate Past Work Reports library?

No separate artifact-library browser is provided. Earlier reports appear through the task context and visible activity when they are relevant. If you need a result that is not visible, start from the current project context or contact support.
