Refund Policy
How refunds and subscription cancellation work for RevampKey purchases.
Scope and payment provider
This policy applies to purchases and subscriptions for RevampKey. Paddle processes our checkout and payment transactions. Refund requests are reviewed and handled under Paddle’s Refund Policy and the consumer-protection laws that apply to the customer and the transaction.
This policy explains the applicable routes and windows. Your exact statutory right depends on your jurisdiction; there is no single global refund period for every customer or transaction.
Cancellation versus refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so your plan remains available until then. Cancelling a subscription is separate from requesting a refund for a payment that has already been made.
If a transaction is not eligible for a refund, cancelling can still prevent the next renewal. Unused usage allowances expire at the end of the billing period in which they were granted and are not converted into cash.
General refund rule
Unless required by applicable law, all Transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may issue a refund where its Refund Policy or applicable consumer law provides a right to one.
Items that are delivered and fully accessible immediately may be non-refundable once delivered, except where a refund is required by law or Paddle’s policy.
Statutory refund windows
Paddle’s published policy states the following statutory windows where the applicable local law gives the customer a right to withdraw or cancel. Request the refund within the stated period from the date of the Transaction:
- 14 days: European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom; and Turkey and Israel.
- 7 days: South Korea, Brazil and China; and Canada.
- 5 days: Singapore.
These windows are jurisdiction-specific. The exact statutory right, including whether it applies to a particular product or transaction, depends on the customer’s jurisdiction and applicable law.
Discretionary refunds
Paddle may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within 14 days of the Transaction date. Submitting a request within this 14-day period does not guarantee a refund.
Paddle reviews discretionary requests case by case. It may approve a full refund, approve a partial refund or decline the request, taking into account factors such as the nature of the product, the reason for the request, usage or consumption and any applicable contractual terms.
Digital content and withdrawal
A statutory right to withdraw does not apply to digital content that has started to be downloaded, streamed or otherwise used when the customer gave express consent to waive that withdrawal right. This limitation applies only where the applicable law permits it and the required consent was given.
The statutory windows above therefore do not override the applicable digital-content conditions. A customer may still have non-waivable rights under the law that applies to the transaction.
Subscriptions and free trials
For a subscription contract, the statutory withdrawal right applies to the first payment, where applicable. It does not apply to subsequent subscription payments. Cancelling a subscription prevents future billing; it does not by itself create a refund right for the current billing period or for an earlier payment.
If a subscription includes a free trial, then, as soon as the free trial ends, the customer again has a period of 14 calendar days to exercise an applicable statutory right to withdraw. Any refund request remains subject to the applicable digital-content rules and the customer’s required consent, where those rules apply.
Refund request integrity
A refund request must be made by the purchaser or account holder and must relate to a genuine transaction. For a discretionary or defect-related review, Paddle may require reasonable information to identify the transaction, verify account ownership and understand the claimed issue. We will not use these checks to remove a non-waivable statutory right.
You may not recover more than the amount actually paid for the same transaction. We do not issue duplicate refunds, credits or other compensation for the same charge. Tell Paddle if the charge has already been refunded, credited or reversed by us, Paddle, your bank or card issuer. Where a refund review or chargeback is already open, duplicate requests may be consolidated or paused while the existing review is resolved, without limiting any right that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
When a full refund is approved, the associated subscription, paid access and unused benefits may be cancelled or revoked to prevent receiving both the refund and the product benefit. Do not continue using paid features or redeeming unused credits after a full refund. We may decline a discretionary request, restrict account access or take other lawful action where there is evidence of fraud, false information, payment misuse, repeated duplicate requests or other refund abuse. These measures do not restrict a valid statutory claim or a valid claim for a material product defect.
Technical or product defects
Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws. Contact support if you cannot access an advertised feature or believe a material defect affected your purchase, so the issue can be routed to Paddle for review.
How to request a refund
Submit your request through the refund or support route provided in your Paddle payment receipt or account billing page. Include the transaction details and the reason for your request so Paddle can identify the purchase and apply the correct policy and jurisdictional rules.
For the same transaction, keep one refund request active and do not submit duplicate requests through multiple channels. If you have opened a payment dispute or chargeback, disclose it in your request so Paddle can avoid duplicate recovery and apply the correct process.
You can also contact hello@revampkey.com. We will help route your request to the appropriate Paddle support channel, but Paddle determines whether a refund is available and the amount of any approved refund.
